My name is Shannon and I have been married to my husband, Chris, for nearly 26 years. Together, we have a daughter, a son-in-law (who we consider a son), a super-cool 8-year-old grandson, a lab named Molly, and some chickens.

I bring trauma wise care to the therapeutic relationship ("what's wrong strong with you?"). I have specialized experience with Trust Based Relational Intervention and grief complicated by homicide.

I use a variety of approaches including CBT, parts work, attachment theory, narrative and biopsychosocial education.

Hi, my name is Tamra James, but I prefer to be called Tammy. I am a pre-licensed Professional Counselor. I graduated from Liberty University in August of 2021with a MA degree in Licensed Professional Counseling. I am a grandma, and I began my counseling career later in life. My varied life experiences make me compassionate, caring counselor. I help people of all ages from 3 to 99 with grief, loss, anger, anxiety, panic, depression, PTSD, ADHD, trauma, abuse, domestic violence, behavioral, and self-worth issues on an individual, family, couple, and group basis. I use a person-centered approach with concepts of CBT, EMDR, DBT, SFBT, PT, or TBRI – tailored to each client and working collaboratively with each client. I am a Christian. I love the Lord Jesus and I will use Biblical principles in counseling sessions upon request only. You are special to me. I want to help you be your best self.
